MAG Travel Survey Data Portal

Welcome to the MAG Travel Survey Data Web Portal

The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) is the regional planning agency responsible for all transportation and socio-economic planning activities for the region.  The agency conducts numerous surveys and data collection projects in order to obtain the information necessary for understanding the existing state of the transportation system, identifying future needs, and making short- and long-term planning decisions.  This web portal has been developed with a view to provide the public and the professional community access to the various data sets and information sources that MAG uses in its planning activities.  Many of these planning data sets are obtained through numerous types of surveys including, for example, surveys of households to understand how, when, where, and why people travel on a daily basis, transit on-board surveys to help improve transit service in the valley, surveys of patrons at special events to aid in managing traffic congestion associated with such activity, and surveys of truck travel in the valley.  All of these survey data sets are now being made available through this portal so that the public and the professional community can analyze the data and obtain information of interest.

The web portal is quite flexible and offers a number of features for identifying and analyzing data. The information available at this portal and the online statistical analysis capabilities will be continuously enhanced over time; so, please check back often and let us know if you have any thoughts on how to make this portal more useful and friendly to the user.
